My name is Jakob Sigurðsson and I have been photographing birds in Iceland since the summer of 2002. I have also photographed some birds in the Stockholm area where I studied in the winter of 2006 & 2007. A couple of photos are from elsewhere. All birds shown in this gallery are wild birds and none are captive. Bird photography is my hobby and my aim is to increase both the quality of the photographs here and the number of species.
