Gavia Travel offers wide variety of travel experiences.

Gavia Travel's scheduled tours consist of two types of Nature and Wildlife watching day tours, three kinds of 4 day Stop Over Tours and variety of Birdwatching tours including: two types of 4-day tours, two 6-day tours and one 12-day tour.

Day Tours

Gavia Travel offers two kinds of scheduled Nature and Wildlife watching day tours leaving daily from Reykjavik.

One ito the Reykjanes Peninsula and the other to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Both are relaxing and ideal for your last day, or any day for that matter, in Iceland. Just as in all our tours we emphasis on keeping the groups small from 6 - 12 people to ensure every participants experience will be an enjoyable one. The Reykjanes Peninsula tour takes around 8 hours and the Snaefellsnes Peninsula tour about 10-12 hours.

Harlequin Duck. These ducks are widespread on the Peninsula in the early and late summer Reykjanesta. The south shores at Reykjanes Peninsula show evidentely how the ocean waves of the North Atlantic ocean sweep unhindered on it  Arctic Tern. A very common bird on the Reykjanes Peninsula At location where we look for seals, both Harbour/Common Seals are regularly seen resting on rocks in this area Northern Fulmar. A species we will be seeing in big numbers during the day Minke Whales can often be seen feeding just of shore close to the bird cliffs

  

Stopover Tours

During the summer Gavia Travel offers three different Nature and Wildlife watching tours in Iceland that are very suitable for travellers going between Europe and America.

Each tour emphasizes on different areas of Iceland The South Shore and Lakagigar Craters, The West Iceland and The World Famous Lake Myvatn Area. Just as in all our tours we emphasis on keeping the groups small from 6 - 12 people to ensure every participants experience will be an enjoyable one!

Razorbill. A common breeding species in the area and during the day they will be abundant when we visit some of their breeding areas Northern Fulmar. A species we will be seeing in big numbers during the day The sunset from Flatey Island in July. Atlantic Puffins and Black Guillemots swimming around  Skogafoss Waterfall. One of the waterfalls we visit in the South Shore and Laki Craters Tour Atlantic Puffin. With a little luck we should be able to get close to few breeding Puffins today We will stop by a big a big Arctic Tern colony

  

Birdwatching

Gavia Travel offers variety of scheduled Birdwatching experiences in Iceland. These scheduled tours consist of two types of 4-day tours, two types of 6-day tours and one 12-day tour. The 6-day tours are run back-to-back meaning that visitors can go on more than one trip and extend their trip to up to 12 days.
