Snaefellsjokull GlacierGavia Travel offers two kinds of scheduled Nature- and Wildlifewatching day tours leaving daily from Reykjavik.

One is to the Reykjanes Peninsula and the other to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula.

Both are relaxing and ideal for your last day, or any day for that matter, in Iceland. Just as in all our tours we emphasis on keeping the groups small from 6 - 12 people to ensure every participants experience will be an enjoyable one.

The Reykjanes Peninsula tour takes around 8 hours and the Snaefellsnes Peninsula tour about 10-12 hours.

For more information on each tour please choose either tour here to the right.

Arctic Tern. A very common bird on the Reykjanes Peninsula Harlequin Duck. These ducks are widespread on the Peninsula in the early and late summer Reykjanesta. The south shores at Reykjanes Peninsula show evidentely how the ocean waves of the North Atlantic ocean sweep unhindered on it Thick-billed Murre/Brunnich's Guillemot. Will be seen at Snaefellsnes Peninsula during the summertime Northern Fulmar. A species we will be seeing in big numbers during the day The Volcano underneath Snaefellsjokull Glacier. If you look closely you can see how the lava has streamed down the mountain and the lava field in the forground
